The Township of Langley awards grants annually to Registered Non-Profit Societies and Registered Charities serving the municipality and its residents. Applications for funding of special events / projects must demonstrate direct benefit to the Township, involve local residents, be held in the Township, and benefit a majority of Township residents. These special events / projects should promote the identity of Langley and enhance the quality of life for its residents. A minimum of 250 Township residents should directly benefit from the project or event. Applications may be pro-rated according to the number of residents served. Capital improvements and operating / administrative costs are not eligible for funding under this program.
The maximum grant in this category is $2,750. Grants may be pro-rated based on the project scope, number of residents who will benefit, and financial need of the organization.
Applications for 2025 Community Grants will open on December 1, 2024 and close February 28, 2025.
